Damien

Where does the time go? Damien is finishing up driver's ed and already looking forward to his next birthday when he can drive on his own. He is working on getting his Eagle and knows that has to be comleted first. He's doing well in school this year and it's so nice to not have the fight with school and him this year.

Brittnee

Brittnee is as social as ever. She is dancing with Lashars agian this year and loves it. Her first big performance this year is at the Festival of Trees the first week of December.

Christian

Chrisitan is having a little bit of a struggle this year. He's been dealing with a lot of stress with his teacher and it's creating headaches. Now that we know what's causing things we are working with Christian on how to better deal with things so he can relax and hopefully control those headaches better. He loves scouts and has comleted his level and waiting for his birthday to move onto the next.
Brayden is enjoying 3rd grade. He is learning to love to read and we are finding him more and more with his nose in a book. I love that our children are following David's and my love for books.

Paxten

I decided I really need to update and get better at keeping things a little more current.

We are so happy, Paxten is finally really starting to grow. He has gained a pound in the last 3 weeks. Before therapy it took about 2 months to do that. He is now just shy of 16 lbs. We haven't had him measured lately so I'm not sure on length but we can see a difference. He is so close to walking. He will take a step here and there but hasn't just taken off yet. He climbs on everything and is getting himself into all kinds of trouble.

We will be traveling to Boise next week to see another specialist that we hope can give us more answers with Paxten's tummy. He is now wanting to eat more but is still not tolerating food very well. Dr. Smith is a pediatric GI there. He has spoke with our Pediatrician and feels there are some things he would like to look at the his other GI's in Salt Lake haven't. We feel it's worth a try. If he can help us give Paxten better care and make him more comfortable and be able to eat something other than the elemental formula we need to try.
